PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The exclusion of Roma People by the society we live in due to the inability to integrate
poses many problems. The society's exclusive approach to Roma People negatively
affects its social acceptance and sense of belonging.
The negativities experienced by Roma People in our environment
affect us, the society and our organizations negatively as individuals. Because in the same
society, the exclusion suffered by Roma People who live in neighborly relations harms
social peace. Life and property safety, public health, sense of trust, personal psychology,
etc. is damaged. The solution of the problem to ensure social peace in our environment is
one of the primary needs of our institutions.
The issue of Roma People integration has been included in EU 2020 targets and National
Roman Strategies. However, there is a need for social support and awareness raising for
its success. In addition, there is a need for the development of consciousness and an
enthusiastic Roma society among the Roma. The most important actor of this mental
transformation process of Roma will be women. Because women struggle to be a part of
the society in which they live. It is also trying to
steer its own communities. Women take the role of an educator with a strong influence
against their spouses, children and their environment in terms of being the building block
of the family. It plays an important role especially in the upbringing of children and
young
people and in the transfer of culture. Women who are so strong and have the potential to
transform their local communities must be supported. They also need to be made visible,
to exist on democratic platforms to tackle gender inequalities.
On this Youth exchange we will work on discrimination, inequalities coming from gender, ethnicity or other reasons.
Participating countries: Turkey, Romania, Greece, Slovenia, Bulgaria.

TRAVEL
Participants must arrive in to the hotel by 23:00 pm on 23 March (Arrival day) and leave
before 11 am from the hotel on 31 March (departure day). The project starts with lunch on 24
March, ends after breakfast on 31 March.
If you want to explore Turkey, you are allowed to arrive maximum 2 days earlier before the
project or depart maximum 2 days after the project.

Bodrum is a city on the Bodrum Peninsula, stretching from Turkey's
