THE PROGRAM:
The axis of work is the design of an exhibition of traditional gastronomy and its implications in the territory as a support and as a resource. The main activities focus on group and community participation, collaborative work with professionals and experts from the sectors involved, direct and unfiltered knowledge of the surrounding natural and social environment.
We will have workshops of digital communication, create physical and virtual expositions, visit museums, community activities, cook and eat, visit museums, ports, mills, beaches and... we will build together an international network of local communities active in the enjoyment of their heritage.
Τοpic: food heritage, youngsters and local communities.
Participants: 24 young people from 4 countries, Germany, Spain, Greece and Turkey.
ΤΗΕ VENUE:
Albergue de Tefía.
Albergue is a hostel, near Tefía, a small village in central Fuerteventura. The hostel originally was the first airport in Fuerteventura in 1955.
Today it is a nice and friendly space for groups that want work together in their projects.
The hostel has group rooms and shared bathrooms. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be at the hostel. It also offers has sports, gardens, wifi (not very good), radio, tv, meeting spaces, ancient wood oven for cooking, and other facilities.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW!
😎 This is a southern European region. Come with cap, sunglasses, sun block and flip-
flop, swimsuit, etc. Don’t forget your towel, shampoo, comfortable clothes and shoes!
⚠️ Notice that there is no WiFi and mobile phone signal is weak. If you cannot live unplugged, do not come to Fuerteventura for this project (opportunity for quality time or a challenge?)
