Η ανταλλαγή συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και καλύπτει στους συμμετέχοντες διαμονή, διατροφή (3 γεύματα την ημέρα) και τα έξοδα ταξιδιού μέχρι το ποσό των 275 ευρώ.

MAIN OBJECTIVES:
The project therefore has two main objectives: the first is to improve the skills of youth workers from a professional point of view through the training course of this project focused on video making, the other is to carry out these training experiences on a theme that is central to EU policies, such as environmental protection with the aim of raising awareness among young people to the use of responsible behaviour.
Profile of participants:
As part of the dissemination activities, all participants will be required to mandatory organise a 2-day hackathon focused on video making in their city or community. During this hackathon, they should apply the knowledge and materials acquired during the 5-day training course.
During the video-making hackathon training course, you'll have the opportunity to learn from experts who run a video production company. These professionals bring real-world experience and insights to help you hone your skills. For this reason here is a list of desired participant's requirements:
● Participants should have an advanced understanding of video production techniques, including filming, editing, and storytelling.
● Participants should be able to collaborate effectively with their team members.
● Excellent level of English.
● Adaptability especially when facing unexpected challenges during the hackathon.
● Hackathons are time-bound events. Participants must manage their time efficiently to meet deadlines.
● Passion and Enthusiasm for video making team working and working under pressure.
● Participants will need to bring equipment for a short video production, such as camera, tripod, external microphone, lighting, gimbal, editing software, memory cards, laptop, etc.
● Bonus Skills: Having a YouTube channel (with at least 1K+ followers and 20+ videos) or a social media presence (Instagram or TikTok with 5K+ followers) is a plus. Any other expertise in communication, social media, video making or cinema production is also valuable.
ACOMMODATION/VENUE
Participants will stay in 4 flats (1 x 7-people flats + 1 x 6-people flat + 2 x 4-people flats) in the same building located in the city centre.
Participants will share the bedrooms and the bathrooms.
It is likely that you will have to sleep in a double bed (or double sofa bed) together with another participant of the same gender. Please, keep this in mind before applying.
