λάβουν πιστοποιητικό  Youthpass.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project "Democracy Toolkit" aims to give youth workers a series of tools, techniques and experiences that they can take in and then bring back to their associations. Through this project, youth workers will be able to discuss the different experiences related to active participation, improve their techniques and plan joint actions in the field of democratic values and the defence of Human Rights, which are the core of active participation.

There will be 12 participants from Greece, Poland, Italy and Ukraine.

Profile of participants:

● Have personal interest in the topics of the project.

● Have the chance to know people of different cultures and origins.

● Have at least a basic knowledge of English.

● Have willingness to work in an international team.

VENUE

Participants will stay in 2 flats (1 x 6-people flat + 1 x 3-people flat) in the same building located in the city centre. Participants will share the bedrooms and the bathrooms (in each flat there will be 2 bathrooms with toilet, shower and towels).

Bed linen is provided. There will be a kitchenette equipped with fridge, coffee machine, microwave and complete dinnerware set;

The flats are equipped with TV and Wi-fi.

How to get to Treviso?

Treviso has two International airports nearby, but this one from Venice is the second one closest to Treviso. The distance between Treviso and Venice is about 30 km and you can reach the city by bus or train.

About Treviso

Treviso is a city and comune in the Veneto region of northern Italy. It is the capital of the province of Treviso and the municipality has 82,854 inhabitants (as of November 2010). The city is home to the headquarters of clothing retailer Benetton, Sisley, Geox, Diadora, appliance maker De'Longhi, and bicycle maker Pinarello.

Treviso is also known for being the original production area of Prosecco wine and radicchio, and being one of several towns thought to have been the origin of the popular Italian dessert tiramisù.

Treviso stands at the confluence of Botteniga with the Sile, 30 kilometres north of Venice, 50 km east of Vicenza and 40 km north-east of Padua. The city is situated 15 km south-west of the right bank of the Piave River, on the plain between the Gulf of Venice and the Alps.
